This is not nature conservation, this is vandalism.

I used to do these trails all the time,- often with my dogs. Now there are hardly any more trees there and few people and their pets.

The trees have been removed because they are alien, foreigners. It is baking hot now and without any shade.......The trail cannot be done on an average hot summers day. The heat from the sun on the sea in the late afternoon literally cooks the slopes...well done sanparks...you have ruined one of the best walks in cape town!

These are not invasive alien trees,- they are just forfeigners. Harmless and providing practical function to walkers.
