PRINT THIS Petition to preserve the old
plantations/ Forests. Collect signatures in forests. At present there is
absolutely no protecting body
for these forests.
The situation is
extremely uncertain!
We are aware
that both
Department of water affairs (DWAF and MTO (SAFCOL) have appointed task teams to
review their policy. Current thinking is to remove them. Much has already been
removed. We
urgently need signatures and a public outcry / media attention to save the

NO FORESTS! THEN NO MORE: ·Picnics, jogging in the shade of trees & Cool & shady walks (& wind proof to). No more Mountain Biking, dog walking, Horse riding & even filming & educational classes in the shade. No more children’s birthday parties in the forest & picking mushrooms,- And the loss of the forest smells and ambience that we have all grown to love especially dawn & dusk!! (think about it)
